# Vulnerability disclosure

> How to report a security vulnerability in VendexLabs.

We welcome reports from security researchers and customers. If you believe you've found a security vulnerability in VendexLabs, please tell us so we can fix it.

## How to report

Email [security@vendexlabs.com](mailto:security@vendexlabs.com) with enough detail to reproduce the issue:

* The steps to reproduce
* The affected endpoint or feature
* The impact you observed

We investigate every legitimate report and work to fix confirmed issues quickly.

## Guidelines for testing

    Don't access, modify, or exfiltrate data that isn't yours in the course of testing.

  <Step title="Give us a reasonable window">
    Allow us a reasonable window to fix the issue before disclosing it publicly.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Act in good faith">
    Avoid privacy violations, service disruption, and destruction of data.
  </Step>

  Reports made in good faith under these guidelines are welcome. We'll work with you on confirmation and remediation timelines.
